基于关键帧保护的SVC差错控制方法研究的中期报告Abstract:Inthisresearch,weproposeanovelerrorcontrolmethodbasedonkeyframeprotectionforScalableVideoCoding(SVC).SVCisawidelyusedvideocodingstandardthatprovidesmultiplelayersofencodinghavingdifferentspatialresolutionsandtemporalrates.TheproposedmethodaimstominimizetheeffectoferrorsintheSVCstreambyprotectingtheimportantframes,calledkeyframes.Theseframesarechosenbasedontheirsignificanceinthevideosequenceandtheirabilitytoaffectthevideoquality.Weproposeanovelerrorconcealmentschemeforkeyframesthatcanrecoverthemissingdataorsuppressthevisualartifactscausedbyerrorsinthekeyframes.TheproposedmethodalsoincludesamechanismtoadjusttherateallocationamongdifferentSVClayerstoensurethebestpossiblevideoqualityunderdifferentnetworkconditions.Introduction:ScalableVideoCoding(SVC)isastandardforvideocompressionthatallowsforthetransmissionofabaselayer,whichprovidesalow-resolutionandlow-qualityrepresentationofthevideosequence,andoneormoreenhancementlayersthatprovideadditionalresolutionandquality.SVChasbeenwidelyusedinvideostreamingapplications,especiallyforliveevents,duetoitsscalabilityandabilitytoadapttodifferentnetworkconditions.However,thetransmissionofSVCstreamsovererror-pronenetworks,particularlywirelessnetworks,canresultinsignificantqualitydegradationduetoerrorsinthetransmitteddata.TomitigatetheeffectoferrorsintheSVCstream,errorcontrolmethodshavebeenproposed.However,mostofthesemethodsarefocusedontherecoveryofmissingdataorthesuppressionofvisualartifactscausedbyerrorsintheenhancementlayers.Inthisresearch,weproposeanovelerrorcontrolmethodthatfocusesonprotectingthekeyframes,whicharecriticalforthevideoquality,andreducingtheireffectontheoverallqualityofthevideosequence.ProposedMethod:Theproposedmethodconsistsofthreemaincomponents:keyframeselection,errorconcealmentforkeyframes,andrateallocationadjustment.1.Keyframeselection:Keyframesareselectedbasedontheirsignificanceinthevideosequenceandtheirabilitytoaffectthevideoquality.Weproposeametricthatconsidersthevisuali
