湘江长沙段重金属污染底泥的植物修复研究的中期报告注:以下为英文原文Mid-termReportontheStudyofPlantRestorationofHeavyMetalPollutedSedimentsintheChangshaSectionofXiangRiver1.IntroductionTheXiangRiverisanimportantwaterresourceinCentralChina,butithasbeenseverelypollutedbyheavymetalsdischargedfromvariousindustrialandagriculturalsources.Thesedimentsintheriverbedarethemaincarrierofheavymetalpollutantsandposearisktotheaquaticecosystemandhumanhealth.Phytoremediation,usingplantstoremovepollutantsfromcontaminatedsoilsorsediments,isapromisingandcost-effectivewaytorestorepollutedriverbeds.Inthisstudy,weaimtoevaluatethepotentialofeightplantspeciesforphytoremediationofheavymetalpollutedsedimentsintheChangshasectionoftheXiangRiver.Thisreportpresentstheresultsofthefirstyearofthestudy.2.Materialsandmethods2.1SitedescriptionandsedimentsamplingThestudysiteislocatedintheChangshasectionoftheXiangRiverinHunanProvince,China.ThesedimentsampleswerecollectedattheriverbankinJanuary2021.Thesedimentswereair-dried,ground,sieved(<2mm),andanalyzedforheavymetalconcentrations.2.2PlantselectionandexperimentaldesignEightplantspecieswereselectedbasedontheirtolerancetoheavymetalstressandtheirabilitytoaccumulateheavymetalsintheirtissues.Theyincludedtwograsses(PhragmitesaustralisandImperatacylindrica),twotrees(SalixbabylonicaandPopulustomentosa),andfoursubmergedaquaticplants(Myriophyllumspicatum,Elodeanuttallii,Ceratophyllumdemersum,Vallisnerianatans).Theplantsweregrowninpotsfilledwithsedimentsandirrigatedwithriverwatercontainingheavymetalpollutants.Theexperimentaldesignincludedthreereplicatesforeachplantspeciesandacontrolgroupwithnoplants.2.3DatacollectionandanalysisAfteronegrowingseason,theplantswereharvestedandseparatedintoroots,stems,andleaves.Theplantbiomassandheavymetalconcentrationsinplanttissuesandsedimentswereanalyzed.ThedatawerestatisticallyanalyzedusingSPSSversion22.0.3.Results3.1SedimentcharacteristicsThesedimentsinthestudysitewereheavilypollutedbycadmium(Cd),lead(Pb),andzinc(Zn),withconcentrationsof6.62,50.31,an
