经典的俄罗斯大三留学申请书Dear_,AlthoughIpursuedanacademicratherthancreativepathinschool,Ihavealwaysbeenfascinatedbythepatternsthatoccurinart,architectureandthenaturalworld,anddrawingandpaintinghaveheightenedmyappreciationofthem.Creatingart,whetheritisrealisticorabstract,hashelpedmetoseetheworldmoreclearly.InOctober2007IbeganstudyingClassicsandModernLanguagesatOxfordUniversity,butIhadtoleaveinmyfirsttermastheproblemsmydyspraxiacausedmeweremoreseverethananticipatedandIstruggledtocopewithday-to-daylivinganddevelopedmentalhealthproblems.StudyingthiscoursewouldgivemeanopportunitytogetbackintoHigherEducationandtolearnmoreaboutsomethingwhichhasalwaysinterestedme.AlthoughIhavenoformalqualificationsinart,Ihavekeptupmypassionforitoutsidethecurriculum.Myfavouritematerialtoworkwithischarcoal,asIfindithelpsmetoportraytexturebetterthananyothermaterial,althoughIalsoenjoyworkingwithpaints,pencil,collageandIhaverecentlybeguntodevelopaninterestintapestryandrelishtheopportunitytoexplorenewmediawhichthiscoursewouldofferme.Ihaverecentlybeendoingalife-drawingprojectonwood,whichstemsfrommyinterestintheformsandtexturesinnature.IhavealsobeeninspiredbytheartIhaveseenaspartofmystudyofothersubjects.OnaschooltriptoSpain,IvisitedvariousmuseumsandwasparticularlymovedbyPicasso'sGuernicaattheReinaSofiaMuseumandIwasfascinatedbyHieronymusBosch'sGardenofEarthlydelightswhichIsawatthePrado.AtthePrado,IwasalsoprivilegedtoseesomeoftheworksofElGreco,whichIfounddeeplymoving.AsapractisingChristian,theartofthespiritualmattersparticularlytome,andIwanttolearnmoreaboutbothChristianartandtheiconographyandarchitectureofothermajorworldreligions.AnotherthingwhichleftadeepimpressionuponmewhenIvisitedSpainwastheMoorisharchitectureIsawinToledo.Iamalsointerestedinthepsychologybehindartandhowpeopleareempoweredbyartisticself-expression.Forthisreason,IamasupporteroftheworkofTheAutismAcceptanceProject,anorganisationwhichshowcasestheartworkofautisticadults.Inmysparetime,Ihaveundertakenavarietyofvoluntarywork.Ihelpedwithmyschool'sYouth
