Contourlet变换在图像处理中的应用研究的中期报告(本报告使用英文撰写)1.IntroductionContourlettransformisanextensionofwavelettransformthatisspecificallydesignedtocapturetheedgesandotherfinedetailsinanimage.Ithasbeenwidelyusedinvariousimageprocessingapplications,suchasimagedenoising,imagecompression,andimagerestoration.Inthismidtermreport,wewilldiscusstheuseofcontourlettransforminimageprocessingandthecurrentresearchinthisarea.2.ContourletTransformThecontourlettransformisadirectionalandmulti-scaletransformthatdecomposesanimageintosub-bandsatdifferentscalesanddirections.Thetransformationprocessconsistsoftwostages:thefirststageinvolvesthedecompositionoftheimageusingafilterbank,whilethesecondstageinvolvestheuseofadirectionalfilterbanktocapturethedirectionalinformationofthesub-bands.Thecontourlettransformisabletoprovidesparseimagerepresentations,whichcanbeusedforvariousimageprocessingtasks.3.Applications3.1ImageDenoisingThecontourlettransformhasbeenwidelyusedinimagedenoisingapplications.Thecontourletcoefficientsofnoisyimagesarethresholdedtoremovethenoise,andthentheinversecontourlettransformisappliedtoobtainthedenoisedimage.Thecontourlettransformhasbeenshowntobesuperiorindenoisingcomparedtoothertransformssuchasthewavelettransformandcurvelettransform.3.2ImageCompressionThecontourlettransformhasalsobeenappliedtoimagecompression.Thecontourletcoefficientsarequantizedandthenencodedusingvariouscompressionalgorithms.Thecompressedimagecanbereconstructedbyapplyingtheinversecontourlettransform.Thecontourlettransformhasbeenshowntohavebettercompressionperformancethanthewavelettransformandcurvelettransform.3.3ImageRestorationThecontourlettransformhasalsobeenusedinimagerestorationapplications,suchasimagedeblurringandimagesuper-resolution.Inimagedeblurring,theblurredimageisfirstdecomposedusingthecontourlettransform,andthenthecontourletcoefficientsarethresholdedtoremovenoise.Theinversecontourlettransformisappliedtoobtaintherestoredimage.Inimagesuper-resolution,thecontourlettransformisusedtoextracthigh-frequ
