小学英语教育专业英语语音教学个案研究的综述报告Introduction:Astheworldhasbecomemoreinterconnected,learningEnglishhasbecomeincreasinglyimportantforstudentsinmanycountries,includingChina.WiththeadoptionofEnglishasacompulsorysubjectinprimaryschools,therehasbeenincreasingemphasisonEnglishlanguageeducationattheprimarylevel.Languageteachers,especiallythoseteachingEnglishasaforeignlanguage(EFL),facemanychallengesinhelpingChinesestudentsdevelopEnglish-speakingskills.WhilemanystudieshaveaddressedEFLteachingstrategiesandpedagogicalapproaches,languageteachersstillfacelimitationsinthenatureoftraditionallanguageteachingmethods.TeachingEnglishphoneticsandphonologyisanimportantfirststepinsolvingthechallengesinEFLteaching.ThispaperprovidesareviewofcasestudiesinEnglishphoneticsandphonologyteachingstrategiesandpedagogicalapproachesinChineseprimaryschoolsandexplorestheimplicationsforEFLteachers.LiteratureReview:CasestudiesinEnglishphoneticsandphonologyteachingstrategiesandpedagogicalapproachesinprimaryschoolsinChinahavebeenconductedbyvariousresearchers.Researchershaveinvestigatedarangeofapproachessuchastask-basedlearning(TBL),teacher-studentinteraction,multimediausage,andlanguageassessment.TheresearchershaveemphasizedtheimportanceofintegratingteachingstrategiesthatfocusonbothphoneticsandphonologytohelpstudentsdevelopEnglishspeakingskills.AccordingtoZhang(2011),EnglishteachinginprimaryschoolsinChinaneedstoemphasizethephonologicalcompetenceoflearnerswhiledevelopingphoneticrepresentation.Toachievethis,TBLhasbeenrecommendedasanappropriatepedagogicalapproachforlanguagelearning.TBLgivesstudentstheopportunitytointeractwiththeEnglishlanguage,enhancingtheirnaturalabilitytolearnthelanguage.LudlowandSpencer(2015)highlightedthesignificanceoforalcommunicationinbilingualsettings,arguingthatinteractivecommunicationhelpstoimprovestudents’speakingabilities.Teachersshouldprovideacontext-richandtask-drivenapproachtoteachingEnglishspeakingskillsintheclassroom.Manyresearchershavealsoexploredtheeffectivenessofmultimediainte
