大家网HYPERLINK"http://www.TopSage.com"www.TopSage.com与大家分享学习资料!鼓励职场学习积累跳槽资本HelpingOthersLearnOpportunitiestohelpotherslearncomeupallofthetimeintheworkplace.Whenyouhelpastaffmemberdealwithanangrycustomer,youhaveanopportunitytohelpherlearn.Whenateammembercomestoyoufrustratedbyarecentchangeinaworksystem,youhaveanopportunitytohelphimunderstandwhythechangewasnecessary.Whetheryouregardthisas'training'ornot,thiskindoflearningdoesn'tjusttakeplaceinformalclassrooms,seminars,oronlinecourses.Andyoudon'thavetobeatrainertowanttohelppeoplelearnnewthings,andbetterunderstandtheirroleswithintheorganization.Manypeople,atmanylevels,trainothersatsomepoint–andtheyhavearoleincreatingalearningenvironmentthataffectsthewayworkisdone,andhowtheirteamsaretaughtnewthings.Sohowcanyouhelppeoplelearneffectivelywithinyourcompanyorteam?Therearemanywaystodothis,someofwhichinvolveactual'lessons.'However,thegeneralideaistocreateanenvironmentwherepeoplearecommittedtolearning,andinwhichtheyaresupportedintheirefforts.MotivatingPeopletoLearnPeoplearen'talwaysmotivatedtolearn.Somesimplydon'twanttolearnnewthings;theyjustdon'twanttochange.Othersthinkthatlearninghappensnaturally,andthatit'saninevitableoutcomeofinstruction.Clearlythatisn'talwaystrue,becauseyoucanteachsomeonelotsofskills,andstillnotknowwhetherthepersonwillactuallyuseandapplythoseskills.However,youcan'tmakesomeonelearn.Youcanhavethegreatestsessionprepared.Youcanhavethemostorganizedpresentation.Youcanbecharming,andknowyoursubjectthoroughly.Butunless'students'aremotivated,it'sunlikelythatthey'lllearn.That'swhyitcanbehelpfultoknowatechniqueformotivatingpeopletolearn.AusefulmodelisARCS,whichstandsfor'Attention,Relevance,Confidence,andSatisfaction.'ThiswasdevelopedbyJohnKellerin1983,andit'sbeenusedandvalidatedbyteachersandtrainersacrossawiderangeoflearningenvironments–fromuniversitiestothemilitary.HerearethebasiccomponentsoftheARCSmodel:*Attention–Capturethelearners'attentionatthestartofthesession,andmaintainitthroughoutthelesson.oAskthelearners
