英语专业大学生语音学习问题、影响因素及其策略的研究的综述报告Introduction:LearningEnglishasasecondlanguageprimarilyinvolvestheacquirementoffourmajorskillsets,namely,reading,writing,speakingandlistening.Amongthesefour,speakingstandsoutasthemostmisunderstood,overlookedandunderestimatedelementinEnglishlanguageteaching.ThisessaypresentsacomprehensivereviewofresearchrelatedtoEnglishpronunciationskillsacquisition,factorsthataffectsuccessfulEnglishlanguagelearning,andstrategiesthatcanbeemployedbystudentstoimprovetheirEnglishspeakingskills.IssuesandChallengesinEnglishLanguagePronunciationLearning:Englishbeingalanguage,whichhasavastnumberofdialectsandthusposesseveralpronunciationchallengesforspeakers.Pronunciationistheprimaryfactorthatcharacterizesaperson'slanguageproficiency.InthecontextofEnglishlanguagelearning,pronunciationiscrucialbutoftenoverlookedintheclassroom.Manycountries,whereEnglishproficiencyislackingamongtheircitizens,havebeenexperiencingtheuseofpoordictionandpronunciationofEnglishwords.Additionally,studentswholearnEnglishasasecondlanguageoftenfinditdifficulttoacquirepronunciationskills,whichmakesithardforthemtocommunicateeffectivelyduringtheirstudiesorinworkplaces.Factorsthataffectpronunciationskillsacquisitionincludeage,individualdifferences,teachingmethods,andexposuretothelanguage.ImpactofAge:Ageplaysafundamentalfactorintheacquisitionoflanguageandoftenleadstodifficultiesingoodpronunciation.Youngchildrenhavehigherabilitiestolearnnewlanguagesandtoacquireaccuratepronunciationskillswhencomparedtoadultswhomaystruggletoacquirethesameskills.Thus,ageisanessentialfactortoconsiderwhenhelpingindividualswhointendtolearnEnglishasasecondlanguage.IndividualDifferences:Differentpersonslearnlanguagesdifferently.Factorslikeintelligence,motivation,learningstrategiesemployed,languageaptitude,andpastexperiencecanaffecttheeaseordifficultyofacquiringpronunciationskills.SomepeoplehavetheabilitytoclearlyenunciateEnglishwordswhileothersfinditchallenging.Therefore,itisnecessarytounderstandindividualdifferen
