FES钢桥面铺装新结构长期使用性能研究的中期报告IntroductionFiberreinforcedepoxy-silica(FES)compositeshavebeenwidelyutilizedincivilengineeringinfrastructuresowingtotheirexcellentpropertiessuchashighstrength,corrosionresistance,anddurability.Inparticular,FEScompositeshavegainedgreatinterestsasapromisingalternativematerialforpavementsystems.However,thelong-termperformanceofFESpavementsystems,especiallyunderheavytrafficloading,isstillnotfullyunderstood.Theaimofthisstudyistoinvestigatethelong-termperformanceofFESpavementsystemswithanewstructure.Thismid-termreportsummarizestheprogressofthisresearchproject.MethodologyThreetypesofFESpavementsystemsweredesigned,namely,FESconcretepavement,FESasphaltpavement,andFEScompositepavement.Eachtypeofpavementsystemwasconstructedwithdifferentlayerthicknessesandreinforcementratios.Thepavementstructuresweresubjectedtoacceleratedloadingtests(ALT)usingaheavyvehiclesimulator(HVS)tosimulatethelong-termtrafficloadingconditions.Theloadanddeformationdatawererecordedduringthetests.ResultsThemid-termresultsindicatethattheFESpavementsystemsshowexcellentmechanicalpropertiesunderheavytrafficloading.Whencomparedtoconventionalpavementsystems,theFESpavementsexhibitsuperiorload-bearingcapacity,deformationresistance,andcrackresistance.TheFEScompositepavementoutperformedtheothertwosystemsintermsofload-carryingcapacity,whiletheFESasphaltpavementshowedthebestperformanceindeformationresistance.AreductioninthereinforcementratiodidnotleadtosignificantchangesintheperformanceoftheFESpavementsystems,indicatingthatalowerreinforcementratiocanbeusedtoachievethesamelevelofstructuralperformance.Furthermore,itisobservedthattheFEScompositepavementsufferedlesscrackingandrutting,whereastheFESasphaltpavementexhibitedmoreseverecrackinganddeformation.ThissuggeststhatthetypeofFESpavementsystemandthelayerthicknessesplayasignificantroleinthelong-termperformanceofthepavements.ConclusionsThemid-termresultsofthisresearchprojectdemonstratethatFESpavementsystemswithanewstructurepossessexcellentme
