Therelationshipbetweenhumansandnatureisanoldtopic.Themajorityofpeopleholdthatweshouldbefriendlytonatureasalmostwhatweneedisfromnature.Naturecanbecalledour“parents”.However,othersdon’tagreewiththem.Theyarguedthatnatureisdestructive.Forinstance,everyyeartherearealotofpeopledieofnaturalforce,suchasearthquake,tsunami,snowstormandsoonallovertheworld.Inmyopinion,wehumanshouldestablishanfriendlyrelationshipwithnature.Ononehand,humanbeingsaretheoffspringofnature.Tokeepthesustainabledevelopmentofushumans,wemustprotectnaturefrompollution,destruction,encroachment,disharmony.Theidealrelationshipbetweenhumansandnatureareinharmonyandthatisourultimateaim.Ontheotherhand,peoplecannotliveapartfromnature,andyet,peoplecannotliveinnaturewithoutchangingit.Itistrueforallcreaturesthattheydependuponnatureandtheychangeit.Wecannotsubmittonaturesometimes.Forexample,wecannotcontrolthethestartandendofend,butitcanbeusedtomakepower.Earthquakecanbeforecastedtoavoidheavylossbyhigh-technology.Theprimevaldesertalsocanbechangedintofertileoilbyourhumans’efforts.Butthekeytothesuccessofthechangeishowtohandlethekindandscaleofthedifferencemadebyhumans.Asifyouchoosetomaketoogreatadifference,you’lldiminishnatureandnarrowyoursubsequentchoices.Ultimately,youdiminishordestroyyourselves.Natureisnotonlyoursourcebutalsoourlimitandmeasure,soweshouldprotectnature.
