WhyshouldnotIBeaTeacher?Facingwiththegraduationnextyear,Ihavealreadybegunmycareerplanningunderthepressureofthetoughjobmarketandthelimitedchoicesofmymajoratpresent.WhenIwasyoung,mydreamjobwassameaswhatmyparentsexpected,thatwastobeateacher,whoteachesinauniversity,teachesaclassof“adults”,whonotonlyhasbothsummervocationandwinterholidayeveryyearbutahighpayingaswell,wholeadsasimplelife—arrangingmycourseplanning,attendingclassontimeandenjoyallthehappinessthisjobbringtoher,andwithoutconsideringtherisksofunemploymentforcollegeschoolteachersaresopopularandrespectable.Andnow,thingschangealotwithmyage—Ihavereceivedmoreeducation,andeventuallyrealitycomestomestepbystep,mydreamcareerisnotrelatedtotheteachingprofessionanymore,IthinkIshouldnotbeateacherinthenearfuture.ThereasonswhyIgiveupthedreamofsuchakindofholyjobareevidentandsimple.Althoughthisdecisionisalittlebitselfishtosomeextents,IjustcannotallowmyselftostartacareerwhichI‘mnotsureenoughwhetherIcanpersistittotheend.Nowadays,Chineseeducationsystemandsocialresourcesallocationhavesomeproblemsimpedingoureducationandteacherprofession.Fromthepresenteducationsystemperspective,thetraditionalteachingpatterninwhichteachersareauthoritiesandinculcators,whilestudentsarelistenersandthesubmissive,createsdistancebetweenteachersandpupils,letalonethetouchofstudents’souls.Educator'srigidregularconsciousnessmakeeducatorsbecomeformulationperson,andsupervisor,andneglectthefullplayofstudents'entity.HYPERLINK"javascript:void(0);"\o"点击发音"AndwecanalsoknowthatResearchAssessmentExercisehasbeenadoptedgraduallyinalargeportionofuniversities,sothatuniversityprofessorsarefacingwithespecialpressurescomparedwiththeteachersworkinginbasiceducation.Meanwhile,teacherworkinginthebasiceducationusuallyaredissatisfiedwiththeirsalaryandhaveverylimitedchancestoachieveabrighterfuture.Ifweturnourattentiontothesociety,wehavetosaysuchabigpopulationdoesmakesomedifficultiesforus—wehavealargenumberofstudentseveryyear,nomatteryouliveinurbanorruralregions,andyouchoosepublic
