LoveIsUnselfishEveryonehashisowndefinitionoflove.Someonemayentitlelovewiththemostwonderfulwords,whilesomeotherscouldbelittlelovescornfully.Someonemayacclaimthatloveissimple,whilesomeothersmayfrownandsay,"Loveiscomplicated".Asforme,Ithinkloveisunselfish.Whenitcomestolove,IfeelawaveofwarmthweepsovermeandmymindconjuresupwordsthatIhavealwaysassociatedwithlove:sharing,helps,forgivenessandsoon.Thosewordsembodyunselfishlove.Loveisunselfish,sowearewillingtosharewhatwehavewithourfamilyandfriends.Whenwewerelittlechildren,wesharedcandieswithgoodfriends;whenwegrowup,wesharehappiness,secretsaswellasthematerialstuffwithfamilyandclosedfriends.Wemaykeepthegoodthingstoourselves,butwedonot.Instead,wearegladtosharethemwithothers.Why?Itisbecausewelovethem,andloveisunselfish.Loveisunselfish,sowearereadytoreachoutourhandswithoutconditionstohelpthosewhowelove.ArenownedpoetTagoresaidthathewhowantstodogoodknocksatthegate;hewholovesfindsthegateopen.Becauseoflove,Ithoseweloveareintrouble,wewillbegeneroustoofferhelpwithoutanybeneficialconditionoranyparticularassignment.Wecanevensacrificeourtime,moneyorsomethingprecioustodothemafavor.Maybesometimeswearebusy,butwestillsparesometimetocomfortourfriendswhoencountersomethingunhappy.Noteveryoneisrich;however,alargenumberofpeopledonatedmoreorlessmoneyforthevictimsintheWenchuanearthquakein2008.Loveisunselfish,soweforgivethoseweloveeventhoughwewerehurtbythemintenselyandfeltextremelyirritatedattheverybeginning.Ifloveisselfish,whatweconcernisonlyaboutourownfeelings.Wecanhardlyforgivesomeonewhohurtusbefore.Inourchildhood,wemaybenaughtyandalwaysdosomethingwrong,however,ourparentsneverstoplovingusjustbecausewecausesomanytroublesforthem.Againandagain,theyforgiveusandsortoutthemessforus.Isn'titbecausetheyloveusunselfishly?
