英语专业四级口语统测考试指南GuidelinesforExamineesGradedTestforEnglishMajors—Band4OralTestTheoraltestforthesecond-yearEnglishmajorisdesignedtoassessyourspokenEnglishindifferenttypesofsituationsandonawidevarietyoftopics.Itconsistsofthreetasks,eachinvolvingaparticularspeechactivity.TaskⅠ:RetellingastoryThepassagewillbeapproximately300wordslong.Itmaybeastory,accountsofexperiencesoranecdotes.Youhavetostartyourretellingimmediatelyafteryouhaveheardthepassagetwice.TaskⅡ:TalkingonagiventopicAgiventopicisveryoftenrelatedtothegeneralthemeofthepassageyouhaveheardpreviously.Forexample,thepassagemaydescribesomeone’smiserablelifeinhis/herearlychildhood,andthetopicyouarerequiredtotalkaboutisonehappyincidentinyourchildhood.Afteryouhaveheardthegiventopicspokenonthetesttapetwice,youhavethreeminutestoprepareyourtalk.Yourtalkislimitedtothreeminutes.TaskⅢ:Role-playingThetaskinvolvestwoexaminees.Eachofyouwillgetasheetwhichcontainsaspecificsituationandaspecifiedroleyouareexpectedtoplay.Althoughthesituationisthesameforthetwoexaminees,yourrolesaredifferent.Forexample,thegivensituationmaybeborrowingmoney.StudentAwantstoborrow20dollarsfromStudentB.StudentAmusttryallthebesttopersuadeStudentBmustrefuseA’srequestwithpoliteness.Yourpreparationtimeisthreeminutes.Yourconversationislimitedtofourminutes.考生须知1、全国英语专业四级口语考试采用录音形式。2、进入考场后，应根据考号和第三个项目中即将扮演的角色对号入座。如有差错，立即向监考人员报告。3、对号入座后，用两分钟时间阅读“考生须知”。4、考试共有3个项目。第一项是复述故事。要求考生先听两遍事先录好的英文故事，可以记笔记，听完录音后复述3分钟。第二项是即席讲话。考生根据所给的题目，准备3分钟后即席讲话3分钟。第三项是扮演角色。考生根据规定的情景和分配的角色独自准备3分钟，然后对话4分钟。考生不得擅自提前拆阅这个部分的考题，准备对话过程中不得和对方讨论，否则将被视为作弊。对话过程中应给对方发言的机会，不得独自占用过多的时间。讲话过多或过少都将影响得分。5、录音设备一律由监考人员和电教人员操作，不得擅自摆弄。6、录音时，应适当控制音量。音量太低将影响得分。7、如果提前完成了某项任务，应安心等待下一项任务。
