姓名:张丽学号:0811010107班级:08教法LiteratureReviewWiththedevelopmentofoursocietyandcountry,thecommunicationbetweenpeoplebecomesmoreandmoresignificant.Asthemostwidely-usedlanguageintheworld,Englishisverypopularandlearningithasbeenthetendencyallthetime.InChina,learningfromprimaryschoolhasgraduallybecomecommon.What’smore,manyexpertshavedonemanyresearchesaboutEnglishlearninginprimaryschoolinrecentyears.Then,asanewteachingmodel,immersionhascaughtsomuchattention.ImmersionhasbeenbroughtinChinafrom1997andappliedinsomeprimaryschoolsandnurseryschoolsinXi’an.Inthese14years,theresultsoftheexperimenthavebothgoodeffectsandproblems.Theproblemsareteachers’qualities,coursesandthewaytoshowlearningresultsetc.Inthisessay,theauthorwillfirstlywriteaboutthebackgroundofimmersion.Secondly,theauthormakesacomparisonbetweenimmersionandtraditionalmodel.Thirdly,theauthorintroducesandmainlyanalyzestheapplicationinChina.Lastly,accordingtotheauthor’experienceinRise,shewillgiveherownsuggestionsontheapplication.Afterthese,theauthorwillhaveaconclusionandprospectonimmersioninprimaryschoolsinChina.In1997,immersionstartedbeingappliedinXi’an,andthenmanyteachersandexpertsinchinahavestudieditinmanyrespects,suchasitsbases,origin,development,properties,categoriesandsoon.ThedirectorofCanadainimmersionprogramLindaSiegelsaysthatChineseimmersionexperimentsarefirstlystartedinXi’anin1997.InthecountriesthatEnglishisunofficial,ChinaisthefirstonetoapplyimmersioninEnglishteaching.In2004,immersionhasdevelopedinBeijing,shanghai,Shenzhen,andGuangzhou.InChildrenimmersionbyZhaolin,theauthoradvocateschildrentoimmergeinEnglishtoformthelanguageability.Therearemanyotherresearches.Forinstance,inTheCanadianimmersionanditsreferenceinChinabyZhaolinandQianghaiyan,theytalkabouttheimmersionandintroducetheobviouseffectsinthechildrenbetween4and12.Theyhavetalkeditinthreerespects.Firstly,immersionmakesthechildrenlearnEnglishhappyandfast.Secondly,immersionhasnobadeffectonchildren’smotherlanguagelearningandothercourseslearning.Thirdly,immersio
