ErnestMillerHemingway(July21,1899–July2,1961)wasanAmericannovelist,short-storywriter,andjournalist.HemingwayreceivedthePulitzerPrizein1953forTheOldManandtheSea.HereceivedtheNobelPrizeinLiteraturein1954.Duringhislaterlife,Hemingwaysufferedfromincreasingphysicalandmentalproblems.InJuly1961,hecommitedsuicidebyshooting,himself.Hemingway'sdistinctivewritingstyleischaracterizedbyeconomyandunderstatementandhadasignificantinfluenceonthedevelopmentoftwentieth-centuryfictionwriting.TheOldManandtheSeaisbasedonthenovelwrittentruestory.AfterWorldWarII,HemingwaymovedtoCuba,metoldfishermanGregorioFuentes•.In1930,Hemingwaybyashipinthestormvictims,FuentesHemingwayrescued.Sincethen,HemingwayandFuentesforgedaprofoundfriendship,andoftenwithfishing.In1936,Fuenteswasfarouttoseatocatchabigfish.Fishingisoneofthemostdangerousworkintheword.Theymustfaceuptothedangerousenvironment.Alsotheymustfacethelonely.Thenoveldescriptionaseniorfishermanliveincuba,Thestoryisoneyearnearsixtyyearsofageseniorfisherman.Atfirst84days,hedidnotfishonefish.Hedidnothaveenoughfood,andManylocalstodoubthisfishingtechnique.So,Hedecidedtogototheseatofishfoodandprovedthatheisaskilledfishermen.whenalonegoestoseainonefishing,fishedonebigfish,thefishistoobig,sothefishmandidnotpull.Theseniorfishermansocializedseveraldaysafterthefish,onlythendiscoveredthiswasthebigmarlinwhichonesurpassedtheoneselffishingboatseveralfold,althoughknewperfectlywellverydifficulttowin,butstilldidnotgiveup.Afterwardsandfurtherbecauseinthebigmarlinwoundfishfishysmellbroughtinseveralcrowdsofsharkfishsnatchesthefood,buttheoldpersonstilldidnothopelikethistogiveup,finallyhighlightedencirclestightly,returnedtothebigfishbeltthefishingport,letsotherfishermennotadmirealready.Thenoveleulogizedthespiritwhichtheseniorfishermanfearhardanddangerousdiligentlydidnotstruggle,wealsoshouldlikehissuch,couldnotsatisfythepresentsituation,shouldpositivelytoabove,doanymatterallisrelentless,meetsdifficultlymustwelcomedifficultlyabove,couldgiveuphalfwayinTh
