施硫与灌水对冬小麦耗水特性、物质积累及产量的影响的综述报告IntroductionWheat(TriticumaestivumL.)isoneofthemostimportantcerealcropsworldwideandiswidelycultivatedduetoitshighnutritionalvalueandadaptabilitytoawiderangeofenvironmentalconditions.Amongthevarioustypesofwheat,winterwheatisthemostcommonlycultivatedtypeintemperateregions.However,winterwheatcultivationisoftenfacedwithwaterstress,whichcanaffectitsgrowthandyield.Therefore,itisimportanttoimplementwater-savingmeasuresandimprovethemanagementpracticesofwinterwheatcultivation.Twocommonlyusedwater-savingmeasuresinwinterwheatcultivationaresulfurapplicationandcontrolledirrigation.Sulfurapplicationcanimprovenutrientuptakeandincreasegrainyield,whilecontrolledirrigationcanreducewaterconsumptionandimprovewateruseefficiency.Inthisreport,wewillreviewtheeffectsofsulfurapplicationandcontrolledirrigationonwinterwheat'swaterconsumptioncharacteristics,biomassaccumulation,andyield.EffectofsulfurapplicationonwinterwheatSulfurisanessentialmacronutrientforplantgrowthandplaysacrucialroleinplantmetabolismandphotosynthesis.Sulfurdeficiencycanleadtodecreasedbiomassaccumulationandimpairedphysiologicalprocessesinplants.Inwinterwheat,sulfurapplicationcanimprovenutrientuptakeandenhancebiomassaccumulation.Studieshaveshownthatsulfurapplicationcansignificantlyincreasewinterwheat'sbiomass,stemdiameter,leafarea,androotlength(Zouetal.,2018).Forexample,astudybyChenetal.(2016)foundthatsulfurapplicationincreasedwinterwheatyieldby11.5%andimprovednitrogenandphosphorusuptake.Sulfurapplicationcanalsoaffectwinterwheat'swaterconsumptioncharacteristics,leadingtoimprovedwateruseefficiency.Sulfurapplicationcanincreaserootbiomass,rootdepth,androotsurfacearea,whichenhanceswinterwheat'sabilitytoextractwaterfromthesoil(Hussainetal.,2018).Additionally,sulfurapplicationcanreducewaterlossthroughtranspirationbyimprovingstomatalconductanceandreducingwaterlossthroughcuticulartranspiration(Weietal.,2020).Therefore,sulfurapplicationcanimprovewinterwheat'sdroughtresistanceandreduceitswaterconsump
