眉山中等职业学校口语交际教学现状及对策研究的综述报告Abstract:Oralcommunicationisanessentialskillintoday'sworld,particularlyintheglobalizedeconomy,asitenablesindividualstocommunicateeffectivelywithpeoplefromdifferentbackgrounds.However,manystudentsatMeishanVocationalHighSchoolstrugglewithEnglishoralcommunication.Inresponse,thisreportprovidesanoverviewofthecurrentsituationoforalcommunicationteachingattheMeishanVocationalHighSchoolandoffersstrategiestoimprovetheoralcommunicationofstudentsintheschool.Introduction:MeishanVocationalHighSchoolisdevotedtoprovidingstudentswithaqualityeducationandhasmadesignificantchangestoitsteachingmethodstomeettheneedsofitsstudents.Despitetheseefforts,however,studentsattheschoolarestillstrugglingwithEnglishoralcommunication.Giventheimportanceofeffectiveoralcommunicationforsuccessinfutureendeavors,itiscrucialtoinvestigatethereasonsbehindstudents'failuresandimplementchanges.TheCurrentSituationofOralCommunicationTeachingatMeishanVocationalHighSchool:1.LimitedClassTimeDevotedtoOralCommunicationTeaching:Duetovariousreasonssuchascurriculumrequirements,manyteachersonlyhavelimitedtimetodevotetooralcommunicationpractice.Thislackoftimededicatedtooralcommunicationhindersstudents'chancesofstrengtheningtheirconversationskills.2.InadequateEnglishLanguageExposure:ManystudentsatMeishanVocationalHighSchooldonothaveaccesstoqualityEnglishlanguageimmersionexperiencesoutsidetheclassroom.Therefore,theyhavelimitedopportunitiestouseEnglishinreal-lifecontextsorlistentonativeEnglishspeakers.Thisfactornegativelyimpactsstudents'oralcommunicationbecausetheylacktheexposurenecessarytoimprovetheirlanguageskills.3.InsufficientAwarenessoftheImportanceofOralCommunication:Itseemsthatsomestudentslackanunderstandingofwhyoralcommunicationisessential.Therefore,theymaynotpayasmuchattentiontotheirEnglishoralcommunicationstudies.Thislackofattentionisreflectedintheirweakoralcommunicationskills.StrategiestoImprovetheOralCommunicationofStudentsatMeishanVocationalHighSchool:1.IncreaseClassTimeDedic
