TheMainFactorsinSecondLanguageAcquisitiondrivenbythenewcurriculumreform,china’sforeignlanguageeducationischangingfromtraditionalteachingmethodtonewdiversifiedteachingtask.thenewroundcurriculumreformputsforwardnewideasandprinciples---emphasizingonlearners’individualitydevelopment“people-oriented”educationthought;emphasizingthesustainabledevelopmentrelationshipbetweenlanguagelearningandpeople;emphasizingthenewcontentofthelanguagetarget--knowledge,skills,strategy,culturalandemotion;emphasizingoncontextteachingandtheintroductionofthetheoryofcomprehensiveevaluation.furthermore,therichconnotationoftheconceptneedstobestudiedandunderstood.secondlanguageacquisitionresearchistheexpressionofforeignlanguageeducationwhichtendstobematureandstandard,whilethediscussionoftheteachingmethodcomestobethemaintrend.therearemanyteachingstrategies,suchasgrammartranslation,direction,listening,speakingandsoon.asthetimegoesby,manyotherteachingmethodsspringup,forexample,communication,cognition,hintsandsoon.from1960sto1970s,asthedevelopmentofapplicationlinguistic,secondlanguageacquisitionhasbecomeacomprehensivediscipline.thefeaturesincludemanydisciplinesintersect,aswellasthesameimportanceoftheoriesandpractices.moreover,itisbasedonlanguagedescription,languagelearning,aswellaslanguageapplicationandinvolveslinguistics,education,psychology,sociology,languagetesting,computerassistantandotherrelatedfields.thesecondlanguageacquisitionaimstoexploretheprocess,rulesandcharacteristicsofsecondlanguageacquisitionlearners.however,nativelanguagewillaffectone’snewlanguagelearning.itistheproblemwhichisthediscussionofpsychologylinguisticandsecondlanguageacquisition.eachtheoryhasdifferenthypothesizes.differentopinionshavethedifferentpointviews.butstill,thereissomethingincommon.firstlanguagedefinitelyaffectsthenewlanguagelearning.andtheprocessoftheeffectiscalledlanguagetransition.whenitcomestothenatureoftransition,thecomparableanalysesdeclarethatpositivetransitionisbeneficialtolanguagelearners.ontheoppositesi
