东西方传统思维方式和科技观之比较2010年6月日李梦竹中文摘要科技观问题一直是科学哲学领域最根本、最重要而且又是难度最大的理论课题之一。而在东西方不同的传统思维方式的影响之下，东方人与西方人的科技观也有着很大程度上的不同。具体表现为东方人以辩证思维为其传统的思维方式，拥有整体的、系统的科技观。而西方人着重于逻辑思维和分析思维，因而持有具有局部性、分裂性的科技观。比较形象地说，东方民族的思维方式呈圆形，强调整体性；西方民族思维方式呈线形，以逻辑实证为手段，强调部分分析。东西方传统思维差异的形成与古代东西方社会以及社会上的主流引导思想有着很大程度上的联系。以古希腊为基础和传统的西方思维强调个人特性和自由，而以中国为代表的古代东方社会强调个人与社会的关系。因而，东方的科技观强调宏观的系统，以及系统内各部分的关系；西方的科技观则将系统分割成为独立的部分，将宏观分解为微观。无论是东方还是西方的科技观，都有着其自身的局限性。由于主体认识能力的限制，客体又拥有着无限性和丰富性，所以，绝对完美、不可替代的科技观是不存在的。比较东西方的传统思维方式和科技观，是为了更好地发展与融合。关键词：科学；技术；科技观；思维方式；差异；原因；表现AbstractThematterofscientificandtechnologicalviewhasalwaysbeenthemostfundamental,themostsignificantandthemostdifficultoneofthetheorysubjectsinthescienceandphilosophyarea.WiththeinfluencesofdifferenttraditionalthinkingmethodsoftheEastpartandtheWestpart,theviewsofscienceandtechnologyofEastandWesthavedifferencestoalargedegree.ItappearsthatEasternerstake“辨证思维”astheirconventionalmethodofthinkingwhileWesternerschooselogicalmethodandanalyzing.Therefore,Easternershaveaviewofscienceandtechnologywhichistothewholeandsystem,whileWesternershaveapartialandseparatedone.Tosayitvividly,Easternpeople’sthinkingmethodappearsroundandemphasizeonthewhole,whileWesternpeople’sthinkingmethodseemsaline,useslogictoproveitself,andemphasizesonanalyzingpartsofthewhole.TheformationofthedifferencesofEasternandWesterntraditionalthinkingmethodsareinconnectionwiththeancientEasternandWesternsocietyandthemajorandleadingthoughtofthesociety.Westernthinking,whichisbasedonAncientGreecesociety,emphasizeonone’sspecialqualityandfreedom.While,Easternthinking,ofwhichthestandingexampleisAncientChina,emphasizesontherelationshipofeverymemberandthewholesociety.So,theviewofscienceandtechnologyinEastputsthemostattentiononthesystemofthewhole,andeverypartofthewhole,aswellastheirrelationship.TheWesternviewofscienceandtechnologydividesthewholeintoparts,anddoespartialwork.EitherEasternvieworWestonehasitsownlimitation.Thesubjectislimitedinitsabilitytorecognize,andtheobjectsareinfinitelyabundantandunlimite
