等值理论视阈下导游口译的英译研究——以黑龙江景观翻译为例的中期报告InterpretationofTourGuidesfromthePerspectiveofEquityTheory:AStudyonEnglishTranslationofHeilongjiangLandscapes-Mid-termReportAbstract:Tourguidesplayacrucialroleinpromotingtourism,providingtravelerswithinformation,andenhancingtheirexperience.Interpretationisanessentialskillfortourguides,particularlyforthoseworkinginlocationswithdiverselinguisticbackgrounds.Thisstudyexaminestheinterpretationoftourguidesfromtheperspectiveofequitytheory,focusingontheEnglishtranslationofHeilongjianglandscapes.Theresearchaimstoexploretherelationshipbetweentourguide'sinterpretationandtourist'ssatisfaction.Thestudyemploysamixed-methodapproach,combininginterviewswithbothtourguidesandtouristsandtextualanalysisoftheirinterpretations.Thestudy'spreliminaryfindingsrevealthatthetourguide'sinterpretationofthelandscapeaffectsthetourist'sperceptionofthelandscape,tourists'satisfactionispositivelycorrelatedwithtourguide'sinterpretation,andequitytheoryprovidesaframeworkforunderstandingtherelationshipbetweeninterpretationandsatisfaction.Introduction:TourismisasignificantindustryinChina,withmanyregionsattractingdomesticandinternationaltourists.Tourguidesplayanessentialroleinprovidinginformationaboutthedestination,disseminatingculturalknowledge,andcreatingapositiveexperiencefortourists.However,manytouristsfacebarrierstofullyunderstandingthelocation'ssignificanceduetolinguisticandculturaldifferences.Inthesesituations,interpretationbecomesacriticaltoolfortourguidestobridgethegap.Interpretationistheprocessofexplaining,translating,orconvertingonelanguageorcultureintoanother.Interpretingalandscapeinvolvesconveyingitshistory,culturalimportance,anduniqueattributesinawaythathighlightsitsappealtotourists.ThisstudyfocusesontheinterpretationoftourguidesatHeilongjianglandscapesforEnglish-speakingtourists.Theregionishometouniquelandscapes,includingtheYabuliSkiResort,theWudalianchiScenicArea,andtheJingpoLakeScenicSpot.Thestudyaimedtoidentifythechallengesfacedbytourguidesininterpreti
