非英语专业研究生英语学习动机、观念、策略研究的开题报告Title:AStudyonEnglishLearningMotivation,ConceptandStrategiesofNon-EnglishMajorsinGraduateSchoolIntroduction:Englishisregardedasaninternationallanguageandhasbecomeatoolforcommunicationindifferentfields.Asaresult,Englishlearninghasbecomeincreasinglyimportantfortoday'sstudents.Especiallyforstudentsingraduateschool,Englishproficiencyiscrucialfortheiracademicandprofessionalsuccess.However,manynon-EnglishmajorstudentsfacedifficultiesinEnglishlearningduetovariousreasons,suchasinsufficientEnglishlearningfoundation,differentlearningstyles,andlackofappropriatelearningstrategies.Therefore,thisstudyaimstoexploretheEnglishlearningmotivation,concept,andstrategiesofnon-EnglishmajorstudentsingraduateschoolinChina.ResearchQuestions:1.Whatarethemotivationsforthenon-EnglishmajorstudentsingraduateschooltolearnEnglish?2.Whataretheperceptionsofthenon-EnglishmajorstudentsingraduateschooltowardsEnglishlearning?3.WhataretheEnglishlearningstrategiesusedbynon-EnglishmajorstudentsingraduateschooltoimprovetheirEnglishproficiency?ResearchMethodology:Thisstudywillbeconductedusingamixed-methodsapproach.Aquantitativesurveywillbeconductedtoinvestigatethemotivationandperceptionofnon-EnglishmajorstudentstowardsEnglishlearning.Thesurveywillbedistributedtoasampleof300non-EnglishmajorstudentsingraduateschoolinChina.Additionally,qualitativeinterviewswillbeconductedwithasubsetofthesampletoexploretheEnglishlearningstrategiesusedbynon-Englishmajorstudents.ExpectedOutcomes:ThisstudywillprovideinsightsintotheEnglishlearningmotivation,concept,andstrategiesofnon-EnglishmajorstudentsingraduateschoolinChina.Thefindingsareexpectedtocontributetotheunderstandingofthechallengesfacedbynon-EnglishmajorstudentsandprovideguidanceforEnglishlanguageeducatorstodevelopappropriateteachingstrategiesandresources.
